Robert Sokol helps secure 10-year contract to host and support Perinatology Research Branch of NICHD
As many outlets are reporting, Wayne State University's largest research contract -- worth $165.9 million -- was renewed Thursday. The Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development of the National Institutes of Health has awarded the University a second 10-year contract to continue housing the Perinatology Research Branch.
Academy member Dr. Robert Sokol M.D., the John M. Malone Jr., M.D., Endowed chair and director of the C.S. Mott Center for Human Growth & Development, has been instrumental in this accomplishment as the project site manager for the contract.
